Zenith 9-S232, 1938
9 tube "Walton" radio. Tuning range: 540 Kc-18.4 Mc.
Motorized electronic automatic tuning with station silencer, robot dial (shutter dial).
The original price was $89.95. I don't think that the Waltons could have
afforded such a premium radio in 1938. The TV series used the more expensive 12 tube model. It has been completely restored.
