Shields Transistor 7, 1960s
Golf club driver in a zip-up leather case (Genuine Leather Japan). Pat. 170406.
Made in Japan. "All Transistor Pocketable Radio". Remarkably
similar to the Voit Persimmon Driver. From "Shields Fifth Avenue Gifts for Men".
Shields closed in the late 1960s. The brand was later used by Watchbands, Inc.,
North Attleboro, MA. Radio also seen as Gol-phone G-71, possibly made by WACO.
