This cabinet was designed by Jan Streng for the Clinton Manufacturing
Company, Inc. and was available in Beetle plastic.
In Communications magazine, April 1938, Page 1, The caption
of a picture in a Bakelite Corporation ad of a
Clinton radio with this cabinet says: "1938 Clinton Radio styles with
lustrous black Bakelite Molded cabinet. Molded for Clinton Mfg. Co. by Associated
Attleboro Mfrs., Inc." The Cabinet is very similar to 1938 Clinton models 57PG, 58PG,
and 59PG. There may have been a wooden version made that resembles the T601 Pilotuner.
