Western Electric 202, Red, 1930-1936
"D" (D1) mount oval base cradle phone. Newer clear rotary dial, F1 Bakelite
handset, red powder coat finish with red cloth covered handset cord. Has modular
connector. This model built from 1930 to 1936. Western Electric continued to
rebuild and use these phones into the 60's. For an extra fee, these phones could
be ordered in a variety of colors, some of which were ivory, gray, statuary
bronze, oxidized silver and gold.
The Michigan Vintage Electronics Club has a
"garage sale" event during Plymouth, MI's Old Village Yard and Trunk Sale, April 26 8am-3pm. Located on Mill St near the RR tracks.
