Collins 32S-1 Transmitter, 1960s
First transmitter of the famous S-line. With the
75S-1 it makes a pair. SSB/CW
modes. Covers the 80 - 10 meter amateur bands in 14 200 KHz segmemnts. 15 tubes: 6U8A, 6U8A, 6DC6, 12AT7, 12AT7, 6AH6, 6CL6, 6146, 6146, 6AL5, 6U8A, 6DC6, 6AL5, 12AT7, 6AU6. The 32S-1 was designed for the original 6146 or the 6146A/8298 tubes.
A pair provides 100 watts PEP output. Needs an external power supply such as the 516F-2.
