Heathkit TC-3 tube checker, 1959
I picked this up at an antique store in Canada on my way to Niagara Falls. I found that many common tubes are not in the roll chart or the supplemental chart. I called Heathkit and they copied the complete manual set for a fee and sent it to me. They don't support the kits any longer, but you can get a photocopy of manuals. I have made some tube tests using guidelines in the manual. Sometimes I used a test from a similar tube, but for some I had to go from scratch. None of the tests are guaranteed and I cannot ensure that they won't harm your tube. I have used all of them and they seem to be OK. Click here for the chart.
